Designing an NFT app, or building a design prototype of a DeFi platform? Whatever it is, we’ve got you covered with these metaverse, NFT and crypto design assets.
The metaverse, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and cryptocurrency – are they fad or future? The answer depends on whether you fall into the camp of believers or skeptics. But one thing’s for sure: they’ve exploded in popularity in the last few years.
As a designer, developer or marketer, this means that you’ll likely work on projects related to these topics. That’s why we’ve curated this list of metaverse, NFTs or cryptocurrency design assets that you can use in your website or mobile app mockups, as well as your marketing collaterals.
What exactly is the metaverse? The metaverse is used to refer to a visual (typically 3D) representation of virtual space, where you’d be able to enjoy the activities you already do in real life – like socializing, working, visiting the neighborhood park, and so on.
If you’ve ever played a video game, this won’t sound very groundbreaking. But proponents see the metaverse as bringing about a more immersive experience – one that can be accessed via virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies, as well as your regular old computer or mobile.
So if you’re designing a single web page, a website, blog post, mobile app or social media post that relates to themes of virtual reality, augmented reality, socializing remotely or accessing online worlds, these illustrations and animations can help.
An NFT is a unique, tradable digital asset that uses blockchain technology to verify ownership and transactions. NFTs can be anything that exists digitally – music, videos and even tweets – but this technology is typically used to trade digital art.
NFTs are sometimes referred to as a form of cryptocurrency. While NFTs and cryptocurrency both rely on blockchain technology, that’s where the similarity ends. NFTs are unique digital assets, while cryptocurrency isn’t – if you own a Bitcoin (lucky you!), it’s essentially interchangeable with someone else’s Bitcoin. NFTs are typically bought and sold with cryptocurrency.
You could use these vector and 3D illustrations to design platforms where NFTs are being traded, or to design websites or marketing collaterals announcing releases of NFT assets.
Does cryptocurrency need any introduction? Cryptocurrency, often just referred to as crypto, is a form of digital currency that uses cryptography to validate transactions. And of course, Bitcoin (BTC – or more recently, XBT) happens to be the most popular form of cryptocurrency today.
Use these 3D illustrations and Lottie animations for your crypto-related design prototypes or marketing collaterals. For example, you can use them for decentralized finance (DeFi) apps, cryptocurrency platforms or any site where you’d like to show that crypto transactions are accepted.
We hope these icons, illustrations and 3D assets have inspired you to create amazing designs. But if you’re looking for more design elements, you can check out Iconscout’s full library of metaverse and nft design assets.
